Coach Sagnelli

 In 24 seasons at Central Connecticut State University, the now retired Coach Sagnelli is a six time Coach of the Year recipient and the 2017 ECAC Coach Of the Year. She built Blue Devil Volleyball into one of the premier programs in the Northeast Conference.  Making an NEC Championship Tournament appearance in 20 out of the last 24 years, Coach Sagnelli led the Blue Devils to the conference finals in 2017 and 2019, winning the regular Season Championship in 2003 and 2017.  Coach Sagnelli has served as a voting member for the NCAA Div 1 top 25 poll and a member of the the AVCA Head Coaches Committee. Her team has be awarded the American Volleyball Coaches Association's National Academic award for the past 18 years, maintaining a cumulative gpa of 3.3 or greater.

 Coach Shell has been with the Blue Devil Volleyball program for the past 22 seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

As the First Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator at Central Connecticut State University, Coach Shell evaluated and helped recruit highly qualified student athletes from some of the best Junior Volleyball clubs in the country.  Greg has also worked numerous camps and clinics throughout the Country.
