Coach Sagnelli

 In 20 seasons at Central Connecticut State University, Coach Sagnelli, the 2017 NEC Coach of the Year (fourth time) and the 2017 ECAC Coach Of the Year has built Blue Devil Volleyball into one of the premier programs in the Northeast Conference.  Making an NEC Championship Tournament appearance in 17 out of the last 20 years, Coach Sagnelli led the Blue Devils to the conference finals in 2017 and 2019, winning the regular Season Championship in 2017.  The current 2019 NEC Defensive Player of the Year is currently a Junior on the team.  Coach Sagnelli currently serves as a voting member for the NCAA Div 1 top 25 poll, is on the AVCA Head Coaches Committee and her team has be awarded the American Volleyball Coaches Association's National Academic award for the past 12 years, maintaining a cumulative gpa of 3.3 or greater.

 Coach Shell has been with the Blue Devil Volleyball program for the past 18 seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator.

As the First Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator at Central Connecticut State University, Coach Shell has experience in the evaluation and recruitment of highly qualified student athletes from some of the best Junior Volleyball clubs in the country.  He currently is a member of the NCAA Assistant Coaches Committee.
